UC Berkeley Tree People- Final Days

September 5th, 2008. I am a student at University of California Berkeley and I witnessed the protest of the Oak Grove Cutdown protest. I don't know why a few of the protesters got arrested since there was like a hundred dancing in the street along with them. Whatever police quite frankly suck and let power go to their heads.
And for those who don't know what I mean when I say that, I am not picking a side in this debate, I just don't like police.

I actually do know some cops. I was arrested a while ago and yes I probably deserved to be, but the way an non-resistant 18 year old was treated is bullshit. They let power go to their head and that is a true stereotype. bruh

@xbrutalcore well just dont sound stupid, I have a dad and a grandfather, both worked in law enforcement for a long time, after all the shit cops have to deal with and the very small pay they get, they are sick of this kind of bullshit, they aernt "abusing their power", be a cop for awhile and have to deal with some fuckin crybabies who wont get down from a tree when asked politely, I think then you can arrest somebody who deserves it.

Fuck the Police. This government is so fucked up. Once again these people are condemned by the government for what should be there right. And you like your government so much? I was out there during this. Ayr got arrested after repeatedly blocking traffic. And then he ran up to me, got in my face, and threatened my as I started a "roll on you bears."

Then he was pulled back by police and arrested. He fought them pretty hard. That's what happened.
