i agree 100%. i just now watch this but i went through the same thots in my head the past couple of days becuz i was goin to go the cookie cutter route and go military and guess what i was doing it for nothing more than the money which at first i thot was worth it but then i thot about it more and concluded hell no its not worth cuz i wasnt even in yet and i was already miserable. so yes, just do what makes you happy and everything else will fall into place. life lesson i had forgotten for a min

This made me remember a quote by George Bernard Shaw, who said:

I have no idea how famous this is for native english speakers, but if is not taught in school, it is not famous enough ;)
