g I found this solution actually got rid fo the problem entirely. I still had slight flickering with the solution presented above. -
This actually helped ALOT. There is still a slight flicker but nothing like the way it was before. I am noticing alot more lag but I am trying to run everything on high so I might have to adjust some of the settings. Stop bitching about it because until there is a patch there is nothing you can do. Or throw your junky computer in the garbage. My room mate runs this on a similar computer but has a different graphics card that I do and has NONE of the shadow flicker issue. Go figure LOL.

@Taaplari yeah shadows are smoother and flickering shit is gone. Magic, superb, thanks. Also didnt notice any performance decrese.

"No performance hit" pffft!
All it does is increase the resolution and decrease the render distance.
He basically told you to set your shadows to ultra, and then chop them off past 2000 units to save fps. It's not a fix, it just hides the problem. You can easily tell if you look at a distance.

THANKS!!! for all the haters saying this wont work, there borderline retarded. This works a treat and finally the only issue with this game that bugged me has gone (ATI HD 6870)
