  • excellent interpretation,bravo

  • A wonderfully romantic yet very strong and powerful performance!!! Pianist Sviridov is just great. Too bad we do not hear him often in concert, but his CDs speak for themselves. Thank you for posting and sharing the art of this great musician.

  • hi hi I thought it was a woman! Fantastic playing though!

  • There are very nice things in this performance.

Personally, I prefer the first version of this great Sonata.

By the way, is this pianist related to the great composer Georgi Sividov ?

    G. Dehoux.

  • lol

  • Yes, thank you for posting this sonata. I have been studying the score with the intention of playing it in the future and now it makes sense; some of the themes were vague on paper (to me; I am a student).

  • Yes very lyrical i find that everyone on youtube playing the first minute of this piece (which is one of my favorite passionate parts) just quickly run thru showing might and strength without the melodic/lyrical sense of its side...which is sad because this piece is beautiful.
