W124 300 of the early 1990s, thats not a car, not a vehicle you own... she's a darling, a love story, a passion, the one with me, plays me good music, invites me to coffee, takes me places... she's so loyal and so true. She can really soothe me when i'm down. I'd go anywhere with her. Even my 6 year old son thinks we're lucky to have 'met' her :-p

i agree the e500 is one of the best.. i own a 1991 190e and i love it so much

after 300,000 and 20 years it still peels rubber and gets 25mpg

i drove a 450slc 1973 the other day and i think i fell in love with it too.. i think the 70's is when benz was pushing quality that is even unmatched today.. and will NEVER be matched again since todays standards are lower. I recommend every benz lover to drive a 1973 450slc and tell me how smooth it rides..

There are many E500 in Tokyo area in Japan. I used to want my dad to buy a E500 LTD with Sapphire black color when I was a kid but he bought Audi S6......Anyway, there are not many E500 in the U.S. But I saw one last night on a freeway. When I saw it, I didn't think that was E500, I thought that was E320 instead. Since it was at night, it was hard for me to distinguish at first. But I speeded up to check up on the car's front fender and knew it was E500. E500 is probably more rare than Ferrari
