How to: Change Blackberry Keyboard LED Light

WARNING:
Doo this at your OWN risk. Taking apart the phone will void the warranty if your seal is still intact (the seal is located right under the bottom keyboard piece - a small white circle).


I haven't seen any tutorials on youtube on how to change the colour of the LED lights on the blackberry keyboard.. so I thought I'd do one. :)

I'm using the bold 9780 and coloured my lights to blue. You can do any colour you want as long as you find a felt permanent marker/sharpie that will stay on to your tape and not rub off.

I followed the instructions on how to take apart the phone by:

Materials:
- a small screwdriver (t5)
- an opening/prying tool
- a sharpie of your choice (or felt pen works too, depends on the tape you're using)
- tape
