thanks to this scene i can't tell anyone and i literally mean anyone my last name, which is pike, because as soon as i do they always say "don't tell him pike" and every time they say it is like "ow this is clever i bet he has never heard this before." i still love dads army a great sitcom and i will admit this is a really funny/classic moment in the series.

@Goodyfan17 Apparently he was biting the inside of his mouth to stop himself laughing! It took several takes before he managed it - even then you can still hear a faint hint of a suppressed titter when he gets to 'He's half barmy'!
