@inqurious But that wasn't a misread haha. He didn't completely go for the ball cause if he did he'd run Ramy over. He just raised his racquet to show he was getting ready to hit the ball, and pushed into Ramy a bit to show the interference and show he couldn't get to the ball. And he definitely could've gotten to the ball if Ramy wasn't there - it was a weak drop (for PSA level at least :P).
@adissad I'm not personally sure, but Pilley was judged to have not made "every effort" to get to the ball. Basically the ref thought he ran into Ramy instead of trying for the ball. If you think your opponent is in the way of your path to the ball but they aren't (e.g. a misread), it's not a let.

should have been a let... drop shot wasnt good enough, especially with pilley's long reach
