  • Did you finally get her litter trained?

How are you managing the strong smell?

  • @catherineistoocool Impossible. cleaning cleaning cleaning. the smell is potent even with glands removed and after awhile its just impossible to cover up. reccomend tile floors for easy cleaning and to reduce the smell absorbing into carpet. high maintenance pets. a frend of mine now has them. she has about 13 in total now and is a huge ferret freak. they are in good hands.

  • your a grub.. get a girlfriend, eg- strange noises? and the burp? and dude just look at your house :|

  • @mizlovermizanin your a moron, they were confined to the seccond bedroom, and i wonder what my wife would think about me having a girlfriend. My house is quite clean and orderly.............Go project your insecurities on someone else fatty!

  • You should read up a bit!

One of the best ways to get them to go in the litter pan is to put the pans in the corners - you'll probably need to put one in each corner.

Bathe her as infrequently as possible- if you do it too often it will cause her to produce more scent. Once a month is the most often you should, less is better.

A good book to read about ferret care is "Ferrets for Dummies" - I think it has the most up-to-date information available at the moment.

    Hope that helps!

  • yeah i didnt really use any soap... just a rinse off.. She has had her scent glands removed so she is not bad at all. I am picking up the book you reccomended. i am also worried about power cords and food. i saw her starting to chew a cord but it was only a nibble real fast. but i am curious if i can get regular ferret food or if the Marshalls brand is really worth it.
