Jameson Irish Whiskey and Empire magazine have set a challenge for all budding filmmakers out there: remake your favourite movie -- as a 60-second short!

'Done In Sixty Seconds' is your chance to attend the star-studded Jameson Empire Awards in London in March 2011 as one of five short-listed contestants.

All you need to do is choose one of your favourite films, boil it down to its essence and cram it into a timeframe shorter than the life expectancy of the comedy sidekick in a horror movie.

To help get you started, check out the Jameson Film Academy, a short film packed full of tips and advice from such film luminaries as Jason Isaacs, Simon Pegg and Kenneth Branagh.
