Everyone just loves to dump on Axl. I think he sounds great and the songs have real emotion to them unlike most of the stuff you hear today.

Anyone who criticizes his voice should go and listen to Madonna live to set the benchmark of what bad is.

Completely agree...people whine about it not being "Appetite G'N'R"...including one of my good mates lol...But fact is, this line up are all pure, heart and soul MUSICIANS. It's rare to get the heart and soul, it's rare to get musical "artists" who are real musicians...it's rarer to get both...it's rarer still to get a whole band who are all both of the above! That's what makes this line up the best for sure :)

Totally agree with u! Dude's 50 years old & smoked a fair bit during his time. The much praised "great" singers today such as Beyonce (20 yrs yngr) church choir background like Axl, & Rearhanna (26 yrs yngr) r shit all next to Axl. Let's see them tour 2 years none stop at 50 and sound HALF as good. Won't happen! Anyway R's awful - *I* sing way better than her! And Beyonce can't SPRINT 600 meters on stage, holding a strong perfect note for 20 secs NOW! Let alone in 20yrs time lol. Respect Axl! :)
