　　姊妹两个由于环境与爱好的不同，养成了截然不同的个性：姐姐活泼开朗，但未免有点浮华；妹妹实实在在，却也有点小姐脾气。她们的表哥喜欢姐姐，又实在怕她那火辣辣的性格，­只敢跟小表妹说话；而妹妹心里喜欢的是另外一个青年，为了 刺激 他，她转而去追求表哥。那个青年看妹妹与表哥打得火热，反而去追求姐姐。姐姐其实也喜欢表哥，但气恼他为什么不向自己表白。为了气气表哥，于是她去 追求 历史系的胖教授；准料想胖教授竟然动了真情，来向姐姐求婚。真是情场如战场。最后姊妹俩各自嫁给了心上人，胖教授为他们做了证婚人。
