Lots of us have biological abnormalities that are confirmed in blood tests. Some of us even have obvious physical abnormalities- eg my upper eyelids have collapsed as a result and I have a pronounced epicanthal fold on one side. This does not run in my family, I have no Asian ancestors. When was the last time you saw an epicanthal fold develop on one side of a persons face due to "stress"?

@OhSleeperAwake For what it's worth I've always thought that PWMEs have, in general, been hanging their hopes too much on XMRV *before* we fully know the role that it plays in ME. I wrote something on my 'blog' last October entitled "calm down, calm down....." about PWMEs almost evangelical enthusiasm about the XMRV finding so to an extent I agree with you. However if there is misdiagnosis, that might be a fault of the doctors involved and it still leaves questions about LP unanswered.

I am sorry to have written that you "Claimed" to have been cured of ME in 3 days after 30 years of suffering. No offense was intended. I will rephrase it. You "Insist" you have been cured of ME, by The Lightning Process (Trade Mark) in 3 days, after suffering from ME for 30 years. Yet you still refuse to offer a definition of the abbreviation M.E., the very disease you "Insist" you have been cured of.
