New York Fashion Industry Report for March/April 2006

A monthly video report covering news, gossip, issues and events going on at the high end of New York fashion as reported by Marilyn Kirschner, editor-in-chief of Lookonline.com. This independent and first hand commentary on and about the NY fashion industry is by one of the most respected online editors in the business.
Marilyn Kirschner was for 22 years a senior fashion editor of Harper's Bazaar. In fact, she once shared an office with Anna Wintour when the future Vogue editor worked at Bazaar also. And according to NY photo journalist and fashion historian Bill Cunningham, Marilyn is one of very few editors "who really gets what fashion is all about". Bill puts her on the same level with Anna Wintour and French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld. No faint praise from one of the most respected names in the business.

There's NO WAY she is on the same level as Anna Wintour. Anna lives fashion. Marilyn Kirschner is DULL. She is so boring to listen to that you question if she's even passionate about what she's doing. And her attire/appearance makes me ask the same question.
