Produced by Cheryl Lynn and Jesse Johnson. From Her album "Whatever It Takes" (Virgin Records America Inc. 1989, USA) Amateur video edited by MB (2008)
i thought i was imagining that she had a song called UPSET , but I guess I wasn't dreaming after all!!!! p.s. she looked good on the David Foster special doing GOT TO BE REAL
I have to say that I cant think of many female singers that can come up with some of the most unique dance tunes around. Singers can sound so much alike these days..and a lot of the music sounds alike even tho you have different folks singin' . But Cheryl would put out dance tunes that didnt sound like ANYTHING someone else sang or produced. "Upset" was THE SHIT back in the day...even now, I listen to this album quite a bit.
Man oh man! Thanks for posting! I used to love this lp so much when it first came out...but over the years I misplaced the casette tape I used to have...this is the first time I've heard this song since like...18 years...wow!!!! Thanks so much! I love it! I love Cheryl Lynn...I just love the bassline-it's a fun, funky groove....ha!
She favors the late great Phyllis Hyman doesn't she? So sexy!!!!!!! So Sexy!!!!!!!
