Reply to "Don't Say the Pledge"

Basically, here is what I took 6 minutes to say:
- Do what you believe is right for the pledge (stand up, sit down, speak, be quiet)
- Participate in the moment of silence, because even if you don't believe, others around you do, and talking would invade their right to be silent and meditative
- When did the pledge become "I support our troops!"
- When I say it, I omit "one nation under God" because I don't believe in God...

The pledge is shit I don't fucking care have the police arrest me and at my school we only have the moment of silence on veterans day or if somting really really bad happens

I was in JROTC, and we had to say the pledge, but I muttered certain parts, I didn't really agree with, like "under God."

the reason that i don't stand up or say the pledge is because i believe its purpose is to subliminally plant the seed of patriotism and nationalism in the public from an early age. i mean come on! what is this a dictatorship?? were not in Nazi Germany. remember history repeats its self, but it doesn't have to.

I dont think that it is just the "gays cant marry" thing, the pledge has so many faults! the whole thing is a lie, mostly.
