U.S. Marines with Echo Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 8, patrol the perimeter of Outpost Shrine in Kajaki, Afghanistan - 05.24.2011
@marinesalltheway95 Same here! I'm still a freshman in high school, but my goal is to get into naval academy, get into an ROTC program, then go into BUD/s. When you get into BUD/s I hope you make it through. Don't quit bro (:
For the people who disliked this.u have no damn respect for our contrey im sorry i spelled it wrong but u get the point these people died in this god help these people
@marinesalltheway95 those are some lofty goals seeing as you would have to leave the marines after years of training and deployment, then train for army and rangers which would take a couple more years, and then you'd have to serve longer in the rangers than you did in the marines. Then you'd have to leave the army, join the navy, and if you werent 28 by then which is doubtful, you could join the seals. I'd say narrow down your list to probably 1. Maybe 2 because some marines become SEALs
thanx for the nice comments ive been working up starting as rotc next is going to be marines than u.s. ranger than join the navy to fulfill my highest goal, to be a navy S.E.A.L.
Actually, I take that back. After rewatching it they (the radio) say to lay suppresive fire and pull back so they can bring in 'air on station' and 'perhaps.... *unclear*'.
Wait, so lets actually talk about the VIDEO here....
If I understood what was happening they basically came under enemy fire, layed down some supressive fire to keep them pinned down in a building or behind some trees, then were ordered to keep the enemy pinned down and put some 'distance between [then] and the enemy'. So they layed down suppressive fire for a bit more and then retreated. Why were they ordered to put distance between them and the enemy? Did they call in an airstrike?
I'm so glad we are not just allies, but friends. Although our fight is now over, there are still Canadians that wish to fight. Unfortunately many Canadians think this fight is not worth it. How they can say the lives of afghanis are worth less then ours is questionable.

@CharIiePresents To America and Britain,
I'm so glad we are not just allies, but friends. Although our fight is now over, there are still Canadians that wish to fight. Unfortunately many Canadians think this fight is not worth it. How they can say the lives of afghanis are worth less then ours is questionable.
