Taken on vacation at my hometown Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, Philippines, I saw the beauty of the past and present, familiar faces and places changed by season and time... I also felt the realities brought about by financial hardships, of high prices and no income to support families in need, rains and floods, simple wants and simple vices...life goes on and on...

  • Yes, the statue of broken dreams is still there! So much changes was there but one thing remains the same, that statue of broken drams will always be a stark reminder there are two sides of life in Pozorrubio, on one side progress and development, on the other, hardships and stagnation, but life goes on and on....

  • at video length 3.50 , im glad that that statue of broken dreams is still there, and the old posts in the avenue are still standing and not torn down. it goes without saying though that our mayor is really doing a good job in our town's progress. mabuhay.

  • modernization comes with change, there is nothing wrong with that. but i only hope that our old historical structures that had been there long before our generation, those that symbolizes and embodies the identity of our town must be preserved with maintenance and not to tear them down. we have a lot of heritage in Pozorrubio that had been passed on to us, historical structures that brings us back to our past. we only borrow pozorrubio from its children of tomorrow.lets protect its heritage.

  • OMGoodness insan... what an awesome transformation! It's totally a new place to me... just to think back in time, this was the place where I learned to ride a bike (thanks to you and your siblings)... I had such wonderful memories there... thanks for sharing! ;-)
