Ppl who say bass sucks are ofen the ones that never played music before, or never heard any music ever,at least hear some music where u can hear the bass not some trash metal or things like that...
What am i saying even ppl that never played instrument can see how good sounds a bass.

I'm sorry you can't see the beauty in playing bass - but it's your loss, no one elses. Bass sounds awesome on its own. I play guitar and bass, and both are great instruments.

ok for one sometimes you can hear bass in metal and in most metal bass parts are hard bc it's called endurance something every bass player should have no matter playing jazz or pop or metal.

though i do think using finger picking is better for metal then using a pick. i dunno just my preference. for the guy that said playing bass sucks alone, youve obviously never heard a slap and pop solo or any really good players like eric czar, buckethead, bootsy collins, or that guy that plays super mario brothers on an 11 string xD
