StickyStaines [Ba] v Smallfry [Dh] Godisageek and GLHF LAN party SF4 Player Matches

A couple of player matches against a great mate of mine I've known from gamefaqs and xbl. Me and sticky staines attended the Godisageek and GLHF LAN party where we stayed at the venue all weekend just playing games! This was out first session on my set up as I brought with me my monitor, stereo system and consoles for the weekend of gaming. We didn't get to enter the SF4 tourny on Saturday due to the amount of participates cap to 32 and places were sold out. Besides that I was completely out of stamina on Saturday cause of some kid who kept me up all night playing an xbox shoot em up and I didn't get any sleep! Well this video is a response to sticky's earlier comment on getting some matches filmed lol You can see that Sticky being an online player is just getting use to the offline gameplay. It's actually the first time I've ever seen Sticky stick to Balrog against the majority of players he met on Saturday and surprisingly I didn't see much Rogs that day besides him! As for me well this game is always interesting because as soon as I get comfortable in the match up I see things I wouldn't expect the other player to do lol. Well the experience was worth it just to see where my weaknesses were. I actually got better on Saturday despite lacking alot of sleep and the whole event was awesome. This was the only set of matches filmed as well as the Power Stone 2 set coming up soon. Reason being it was very very busy from Friday to Sunday and I also nearly lost my TE stick :S Besides SF4 we played Rival Schools 2, CvS2, SF33s, Tekken 6 and other games. I also participated in the Tekken 6 and TvC tourny which I did very average on one being I never played TC before and two haven't touch T6 in 2 months! Ah well lol

Thank you Godisageek and GLHF for looking after me and sticky all weekend and also shoutout to Dellenyum and DJ Showdown and also Impulse and Tttroopa coming along too. Lastly Sticky just keep doing what you do I hope you do convert to the fightstick in future but like how I'm still doing in 2d fighting games just take your time. I mean you saw me using Rog on the TE against your Sagat remember lol :D

pretty sweet set guys! a lot of skilled Balrog players in the UK i had a set with a pad rog player called Mr Mo he was great.. would be more deadly once he gets a stick!

@SomedaysDreamers: Yeah it was a great event and I was so tired on Saturday and when I got back on Sunday. I love the sound cause I actually blasted the SF4 sound effects really loud thanks to my sub speakers lol

Good stuff guys. I'm hoping to be back online by Sunday, and then hopefully I can announce a date for the next online tournament.

Yeah, yeah. I know I said I was quitting, but turns out SF4 is one of those bitch goddesses that men can't refuse forever. :P

@Wastedanime/mangamaniac: I tell you what even though I didn't touch SF4 that week I feel so hyped now! I got to play not only Sticky in a offline session but against people who use to have problems against me Dhalsim! I would tell you more on the event but there was so much going on. They even gave away free pizza too!

Yeah, but i don't think it was your monitor in the end, since i was doing fine later on. Just had to get used to playing offline.

@Sticky/wwe/J: Trust me the game is way much better offline and I'm glad you were able to adapt against the stronger players that day. You notice you have more time to input commands than when your playing online and the timing all random. I'm still hyped btw lol but it encourages me to keep up with the gameplay until ssf4. Btw I'm still playing my Dreamcast on me HDTV playing Shenmue and Rival Schools 2 alot!

@duim157 try playing offensive with dhalsim... even the best dhalsim players probably can not play effectively with him offensively, unless they are playing against a casual player.

That is sweet! Shenmue is awesome. BTW i remember my third best game: Grandia 2. Don't know if you ever played it but i loved it to bits.

How was the commentry on the the Power Stone FT3? If it's too quiet you might as well lay some music over it. Didn't the music fuck up when we aere playing anyway lol?

Fun matches, your friend certainly knows what he's doing there. Though, Balrog and Dudley in one game is gonna be too much awesomeness to take in, I think.
