I have been waiting to make a tribute to them since I first saw them on "Love". Last week, I bought Flesh and The Devil, inevitably my favorite of them all, and my last to see. I wish they made more films together but oh well - -
Here is a tribute to Garbo and Gilbert. I decided to use more pictures and one film - Flesh and The Devil.

I know it's quite sad but I thought it was very fitting.

The reason he lost his career was because he beat the shit out of the head of Warner bros at the time because he said he shouldn't marry her, he should just sleep with her- John loved Greta so much he defended on her and it cost him everything.

@gearsofmom true and Greta also tried to revive his career with Queen Christina but Mayer still held a grudge over him that his career just never could exist again.

Beautiful video ! They were so good together. Weren't they supposed to marry several times. And didn't they stand each other up ? Am I remembering that correctly ? Love your video ... many stars for you !!

I think Garbo was sooo beautiful!
I like her camilie with Robert Taylor. She looks so mysterous and gorgeous! Unique eyes indeed!
