Australian "Channel V" scored an interview with Luke Vibert in January 2004 when he and Aphex Twin toured the country for the annual "Big Day Out" festival. I believe they were meant to interview Aphex Twin but I presume he chickened out and Vibert did the honors, what a pal. Luckily I managed to tape it.

What a mongrel - but strangely Vibert manages to humour him all the way, almost extinguishing how irritating that condescending twat is in isolation.
Vibert is a colourful figure and has good interpersonal skills, but it would have been great if AFX was in that seat - would have been so cringingly uncomfortable and it would be a bizarre interaction. They would totally clash, head-on!
OK KIDS lets have an interview with an english electronic artist . how do you feel about colonial 50's attitudes about electronic music. are you sure its not rock and roll. We've heard that we got left behind in the late eighties and then pretended that it was still the 70's for infinitum. Anyway, I know that you may be as everyday as farnsey where you come from, but entertain us with this quirkey but lovable musac. Ah cute. Hey kids!
I wish, I'd be surrounded in pussy.... litterally.
He wasn't prepped before the interview and was flying by the seat of his pants. They actually have a interviewer with alot of knowledge about electronic music but the organizers failed by not having him up there doing the interview.
