  • sounds fantastic!!,I just bought my cf 1 came with the flat wound.what strings are you using, they dont sound like they are flat wound.as well what amplifier do you suggest for my cf 1?

  • @shooter1817 thanks for the comment. Personal taste but I don't use flat wounds, I always use a wound third though, not too fussy about gauges. Insofar as amps I always use tube amps with my archtops. This amp was a 40 watt yorkville sound amp (canadian manufacturer) pretty midrangy amp which offsets the somewhat high end voice of martin. Now I am using another canadian amp with it, a Mack skyraider 30.....The Martin is interesting, quite different neck than a gibson....

  • geez trim your string endz.

  • lost my wire clippers but I'm good now.

  • I must be a bit stupid, but when I first started watching this I thought you were playing the accompaniment at the same time as soloing (a la George Van Eps) and I was so dumbstruck as to how you were doing it (because I couldn't figure it out from watching you) that I couldn't watch what you were doing. Only after a while did I realise you'd looped it. Duh. I'm not disappointed, though, because it least now it looks like what you're playing might one day be within my grasp. Thanks.

  • @wbges175 thanks a lot

  • @filip1900 Yes I think that is a good price. The only thing that bothers some people is lack of tone control. Warren

  • @ipwnedanoob should i buy it used for 2500???

  • @wbges175 dsdsd

  • Nice archtop, I have one too. They are great for solo guitar.
