Classic Game Room HD reviews the NEC Turbografx-16 video game console (also known as the PC-Engine in Japan, although there are differences). Released in 1989 in the U.S. the Turbografx-16 has a number of exclusive titles like Blazing Lazers and Bonk's Adventure, many of which are now available for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console.

  • shit they dont cost that much??? hell the price on these games are CRAZY!! i got lucky and got splatter house for only $5 LOL but yeah their not low priced

  • also on a side note...i feel a bit let down with the review...like the channel dont get me wrong...but I dont think you do actual "reviews" well...the jokes are decent and all...but you dont look back on the history of things...you dont show alot if any game footage when reviewing systems etc. People sometimes attack the nerd for not giving enough actual info in his vids...but compared to CGR..hes a spec sheet...lol.

  • I liked (and had) the TG 16....it had great graphics...the controller was great coming from NES...had alot of arcade hits and were better ports than some of the other consoles. Its just a shame that it...1...didnt have a/v out...2...didnt have more than 1 controller port....and 3...didnt have game maker support like the other consoles. If it had those things...I think it would have been a huge thing then. Maybe we would still be playing games on cards now...who knows.lol

  • What about us in Denmark!

  • CGR has all these consoles but never review games on them

  • @firesoul453 what the hell kind of cartridge are you on about?

there is NO cartridge in existence which holds even a TENTH of that!

  • @Lostprophetzzz

cartridges could easily hold 32+gigs per cartrige

360 games are limited to 9 gigs per disk

  • @64jamesbond Sure.... if you want games to be a hundred times smaller. with less content....

  • @64jamesbond Vita.

  • @ColecoVectrex5200, That's why we have video game emulation to fall back on. :P
