  • COngrats on your baby boy. I had mine on the 24th July I am so busy hardly have time for me or other people. How have you been handling it all new baby and everything.

  • THANKS! And congrats to you as well :-)

Having a new baby is a major adjustment, but it really hasn't been a bad one for me, he's a good baby which makes my job a whole lot easier!

  • good points u covered so far i just got my nursing pillow no breast pump yet don't know if i need 1 if i be at home

  • Not really, pumps are really used for mothers who go back to work or school. If you plan to breastfeed, I would suggest having Ant latch on and nurse directly from the breast. By doing this he can bring in your milk supply. If you have to spend hours away from your baby for any reason then pumping is good for that reason, to pump and store your milk for Ant. Wait until Ant is at least 2 weeks old to pump if you decide to do so.

  • planning on working and going back to school but also going to do formula also I just hope Ant don't start like 1 then both

  • Jaiden likes both, but it always vary from one baby to another. I hope Ant like both too!

  • do you think you could do a home tour?

  • ok thanks!

  • Your welcome!

If she's not sucking for a long period of time it may mean that your producing enough milk in a short period of time and she's full. If she's gaining weight and has 6-8 wet and/or dirty diapers within 24 hours I wouldn't be worried, she's getting fed well. If she isn't contact the doctor immediately! But if you still may be concerned theirs no harm in contacting you health care provider for advice. Best wishes.

  • Thanks so much! The problem is that she isn't sucking for that long at all and she shows NO signs at all of being hungry.
