  • There was a confirmed funnel cloud in that area of town, i personally saw 2-3 of them during that day. I used to be a storm chaser in the midwest, they happen more often here in az than people think. Its hard to catch them on radar in the valley so most of the time they do not go reported by the nws. Whether or not that is damage directly from a tornado is impossible to tell from the video, but it was caused by tornadic activity for sure. LOL at that guy tho

  • @smokinvr4 A neighbor of ours provided us with a cell phone photo, taken from a mile away, of THE tornado that hit our neighborhood. So, it was, indeed a tornado, and you called it right. Thanks for your expertise.

  • I don't think that was a tornado.. if it was then both your cars would of turned over with broken windows from both your house and cars.. it was a micro-burst... but excellent video.. except the eyewitness thing.. i was like 0.o? ookay..

  • @ARZCARDINALS I'd agree with you about it being a microburst, except we live on over 2 acres and the tree damage was all on the east side of our property. The cars were all on the far west end, where there was no damage, except the treetops that had landed there from the east parts of the yard. The trees on the east side also fell in different directions. Everyone who sees our twisted trees says it had to be a tornado that may not have touched down completely. We also saw the swirling mass.

  • @ARZCARDINALS Oh, and as for the "eyewitness thing", well, it would sort of be an "inside joke" unless you have seen two popular video clips that have gone around on Youtube recently. Search for "Backin' up news story" and "Raping Everything news story" and then you'll "get it". Both stories also have an auto-tuned version that's fun to watch. :-) In any event, we were just trying to maintain some sense of humor through all of this mess. It's a lot better than crying about it all!

  • The storm was scary, but the eyewitness account part was hilarious! I don't know how both of you could keep a straight face for that long! I was laughing so hard!

  • @dustkitty Just trying to keep a little sense of humor through it all. Sometimes, it's the only way to keep your sanity after something like this! :-)

  • I'm from Missouri, and I've seen my fair share of tornados and tornado damage, and I am of the opinion that, judging mostly from the ways the debris are not even remotely knocked over in any general direction, that there was, indeed a swirling mass that hit your house, but as the cars seemed fine, I seriously doubt it touched down; or maybe Arizona tornadoes are just weaker than those here in Missouri... Like I even know anything, Matt Vereyken from Marshall, MO. Cade served here for a while,HI

  • lolol nice...loved it.

  • Looks like you got hit by the rear flank downdraft if there was a tornado. a common phenomenon behind a tornado that has gusts of 70+ mph.

  • @MrThetrace yea ya deffently need ya inside story done before ya start to jumping conclusions

  • @ARZCARDINALS not always brother as I study on them myself they can miss homes and cars and stuff but next door they can destroy whats in its path my advice for ya is do ya research and ya will know

  • Email me the pic of the tornado if you can - streamln93@gmail.com

  • You guys should upload that pic or vid from the tornado.. I would love to see that.. and I will look at those vids. LOL well in anycase its good that you guys got a sense of humor during all of it.. just glad that no one got hurt..

  • There was a confirmed wall cloud with rotation directly over that area of town right when this happend, it may not have been circulation directly from the funnel but i would say tornado damage, doesn't mean it has to flip stuff around and wrap cars around trees to be a tornado, but thats typical ef-0 to ef-1 damage. I lived in the midwest for 28 years and spent several years storm chasing, i personally saw 2-3 funnel clouds that day. LOL at that guy tho.
