How come and every time that someone shreds on neoclassical, everyone start to compare him with Yngwie? Uli Jon Roth, Ritchie Blackmore & Yngwie Malmsteen are the fathers of Neoclassical Rock or heavy ( if you prefer it like this), all the rest are "copycats", some good, some bad. And to come back to the guy of this video here, he's alright but he needs to find his own style on how he plays and how he performs the songs on stage.

@MsLOSO69 Well, I am a fan of Yngwie music, and not is personality. If u want to discuss what Yngwie is, as a human being, personally I consider him an egotistical as*hol*! But I don´t search for good moral examples in music, lol, there r very few... And yes Alex do sems a nice guy.

@MSTmike3k Primal Fear is mostly the other guitarist that takes the lead..Voodoo Circle is his band..he plays lead on that and he is top notch..Great rhythm and blues rock, good sense of feelings involved in his solos..I highly respect Alex

@MsLOSO69 Would u say that to Bach? Yes this people have styles, and u know, style has a lot to do with do things in a recognizable way, so yes they sound pretty much the same! But is not the same! And there is great melody and artistic value there. Any great guitar player will tell u Yng Is great in both things, as a player and as a composer. He belongs to a very specific style, but that´s what make people like me love his music, he never desapoints, like AC/DC, etc : P

Alex Beyrodt is an EXTREMELY GREAT PLAYER, like many guitar players he is soooo under rated and overlooked...great guy also and down to earth !!

Look people! The guy has obvious influences, and no he did not invented the wheel! So what? Who did??? He is a superb player, and he does his own thing! Why he should be blame to do the music he love? From now on I will be one Alex Beyrodt fan! And yes, Malmsteen still rules, what´s the problem?
