Hey all! This is my new techno/trance track. It is similar to my other works, and I really hope you enjoy this piece :) It took me a while to make (13 hours), and I think It is a good result :) Any feedback would be great! Please comment below, or send me a personal message, I read all of them :)

This song "Fractures" is inspired by various aspects of my life, so, don't diss :P The quality here is terrible, so please take a look at the HD version here:

Lately I have not been uploading videos as much. Its taking me longer to make songs and I'm spending more time on them, as well as school work and other things.
Do you think I should upload more stuff? Like behind the scenes, vlogs and just unfinished tracks and fun stuff? I only will do it if you think it is a good idea! So, say something in the comments!

  • i like this a lot!

  • @Vihanyrkki I aim to please :)

  • Well done.

if you dont mind, can you tell me what all you automated in this song?

IE: low pass, high pass, ect. I just want to get a feel for what I should be including to make my songs more in depth.

  • @st0rch I'd be happy too :)

The most prominent automation in this song would be the use of the phaser. I use it on the piano and the bass, and slowly let it in to give that rising feel which is heard at 1:04 on the bass and 1:29 on the piano.

To get the rising bass effect, I used the phaser, as well as a low-pass cut off filter and a high pass filter to give that certain effect. At 1:29 I also use the same phaser on the kick, as well as a high pass filter.

  • @st0rch The lead comes in at 2:04 with a low-pass filter, but I make sure it can be heard by raising the Envelope and Decay of the filter (i think anyway, i forgot). I also have various volume automations on the strings and other features. I have reverb automations on the clap (check out "TranceCrafter"'s tutorial: "Percs"). Thats basically it for automation. Anything else?
