I remember the Xmas after my pet gecko died. I was standing alone outside my best friend's house, taking a leak. Suddenly, Lennon’s "Happy Xmas" (War is over) came drifting down the street from somewhere. I just stood there, watching my piss steam in the air, thinking about Chapman. "A new year has begun and what have you done?" I might have cried a little but Chapman's spirit was keeping me company.
