I don't think this is nasty at all, as long as you disinfect surfaces regularly. Probably spray down the surfaces once-a-week. I really like this idea, except when it is very cold outside, effecting the water tempurature inside. My new toilet is a 1.28 gallon flush, so that would give me both a hand washing and a flush for only 1.28 gallons.

@andreilucaci81 The float valve in the tank, shuts off the water, and all your doing is re-routing the plastic fill pipe inside.
