@maximum411 IQ tests, are also outdated frauds, geared to the advantage of white people, and are discriminatory and racist.

Search "the intelligence-religiosity nexus" on Google for one well-known study, and also take a look at the Wikipedia article for religiosity vs. intelligence, which cites a number of other studies (and includes links so you can read them in more detail) which came to the same conclusion.

Obviously not every person of high IQ is a scientist, haha. However, every member of the NAS does have a high IQ. It is a good example of a collection of very intelligent people, which is why the study used them (and the fact that they are scientists makes them more knowledgeable about the natural and physical world). There are also studies, however, which show that atheists do, on average, have IQs significantly higher than those of believers.

But what you're saying doesn't make sense, because in the general public, "people of faith" are a tremendous majority. Therefore, being a scientist and very intelligent makes you drastically more likely to not believe in a god. The study did not indicate whether the scientists were raised to be religious. Even if they weren't, that would imply that being raised atheist makes you more likely to be intelligent and a good scientist, which doesn't make much sense, lol. It's vice versa.
Wait till the chimp gets old and cranky, then he will rip their faces off.

humans are animals. we are primates just like chimpanzees. its ironic that the less intelligent humans who are superstitious jesus freaks refuse to believe they are animals whereas the more evolved higher iq humans realize they are animals and that the bible is a book of superstition. its so ironic.
