  • This is from ELP's "Beyond the Beginning" DVD, a fantastic compilation of clips including the entire California Jam set. Highly recommended!

  • Greg's the most relaxed guy I've ever seen on stage. The chewing gum, the eyes, just something about his attitude. Like the world would end and he wouldn't give a damn if he went to heaven or hell. Great bassist though, what he did is not easy.

  • What's the aim of the chewing gum?

  • Got to see them in Des Moines, Iowa in June of 1977 just before they dumped the orchestra. This music is so awesome. I was just 15 then at 50, I never tire of listening to ELP. They can just play this music at my funeral.

  • example of the occurrence of electronic computing machines in singing !!!!!!!

  • Emerson, Lake, & Palmer: Because nothing is more epic than a giant rainbow.

  • Keith Emerson=Greatest keyboardist of all time.

Greg Lake=Greatest bassist/singer of all time

Carl Palmer=Greatest drummer of all time

Emerson, Lake, & Palmer=MORE EPIC THAN JESUS!!!
