I moved the portable A/C unit to a new window in my office, which was much smaller. The window exhaust/intake panel was too short to fill the window, and with one of its two extensions, it was many inches too long, and it was too late for me to cut it to size in my garage, with my neighbors right next door, so I just clamped it in the mill, threw together some g-code, and cut it in there, in the quiet of my office.

Software used was the free/open EMC2 - Enhanced Machine Controller on Ubuntu 6.06, Dapper Drake.

  • Ha, you're not the only one that chops up Loc-Lines...I've crushed them in the toolchangers at work, too. How do you like the vacuum system? What's the power source, a Shop-Vac? Nice video, I think it's a good idea to point out to first-time users that not every part can be chopped out in one pass.

  • Very nice video!

    Thanks for sharing
