  • me mum n stepdad lives in Ardara, i visit every few months...I HATE having to come back to London.... :-( i know its really sad, but this video just brought tears to my eyes, missing it.... i'm OVERDUE my visit, been 2 months

  • Thanks Lindy - I get up every 2 or 3 weeks and I even get withdrawal symptoms! Heading up for Haloween & 2 weeks at Christmas - had a great weekend recently when the O'Rouke family gathered for their mothers (Maureen) 70th - music in the hotel friday and corner all saturday!

  • What music is being played and by whom?.

  • It is 'Library music' from a free disc - I'm afraid I don't know who it is by - can I send it to you someway?

  • what a beautifull country we live in and everyday we r blessed by such beautifull scenery, and yet there r those who want to destroy such beauty by there violence. we need to get a grip on things in this beautiful land and preserve it for our next generation of kids like those within our own families, and grandchildren. loved the video SLIVETOOEY

  • This is beautiful. I have Irish ancestors that emigrated from Ardara to America in the 1840s. Watching this gives me a beautiful visual of where they were from. thanks for posting! :)

  • I'm over here in Ardara now... i was actually in the Corner House last night and Paddy O'Rouke was playing the fiddle (i presume its the same O'Rouke family you mentioned?)... i HATE leaving here... i've only 2 days left!...
