it turns yellow when it feels threatened to let predators kno it poisonous

hmm i wonder why he would display such wierd colors and patters. mabey so he could find other cuttlefish.

Excellent clarity, too bad it's so short. Graigsmith, the color display is to discourage would-be predators. When they're not being harrassed by divers they use their abilities to mimic whatever the background is, rendering themselves almost invisible.
