Anti-US government journalist - a spy?

Alleged Russian agent Vicky Pelaez is expected to post bail in New York today. Of all alleged spies facing charges in the US, Pelaez's supporters say the case against her is particularly weak. Among some of their questions: Couldn't a spy pick a better cover than an anti-US government journalist?

I nearly celebrated when I heard Vicky Pelaez was arrested. Someone so anti-American should not live in the United States of America and enjoy life here as an American. She should be deported back to Peru or, for that matter, Russia, to remind her exactly why she's here in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Why is she here? Because her country would've executed her years ago for even thinking about saying anything anti-Peruvian. If you hate this country, no one is forcing you to stay. PLEASE LEAVE

This lady is not a spy. This is such BS. The US government targeted her and a throw-away operation. Why doesn't the FBI treat them like they treates all those "dancing Israelis" who were arrested at Liberty Park filming the 9-11 attacks? Or the FBI could round up those over 200 "Israeli art students" who were trying to get access to secured federal buildings and military bases right before 9-11? Hmmm.....I smell a double standard and fascism.
