  • I love Scott Brick... especially the Nelson Demille stuff!! Getting the George Washington stuff next!!!

  • Every audio reader irritates me in some way - except Scott :)

  • You should really hear his rendition of THE COMPANY a novel of the CIA. Wow. Russians, Germans, Hungarians, Men, Women he makes it all so captivating.

  • If anyone was to dislike this I'd punch them in the face.

  • @Munkatten Hey... There's nothing wrong with liking Big Macs. Once in a while. This guy's whisper-cresendo-whisper melodrama is EVERYWHERE. You can't avoid him. Also, like McDonald's...

  • @chrisgelles

Eh. Can't people have differing opinions without some douche resorting to belittle the other side?

I have narrators I can't stand, but I'm not going to compare them to the disgusting trash that is fast food, and then claim that my own preferences are the crème de la crème of listening sensations.

  • he looks like Dr. House hahaha

  • this guy opus magnum in narration is with the Bourne trilogy and In Cold Blood. he is the best!!!

  • Is this the joker that ruined the Shanara? He is the same stupid inflections in every book.

Go listen to Roy Dotrice if you want to hear a good reader.

Everything is Wawawa with this guy. Melodramatic is right. He stinks.

  • I listen to audio books while I work. And, I've experienced more than one favorite title ruined by his unnecessarily melodramatic style. Now, when I see an audiobook narrated by Brick, I look to see if there is another version.

Oddly, the man is popular... Then again, so is McDonalds. And, when something could be as good and savory as filet mignon, Brick will only ever deliver the Big Mac version.
