I do wonder: the most important thing about a good mascara, in my opinion, is the wand. I understand that you use disposable wands on other people because otherwise it would not be hygienic, but the disposable wands can't be as good as the original one.

help me understand that.

@Brrowwnie Personally, I DO THAT because too easily bits of dark eye makeup can fall down onto the nose or cheek areas and if so then it is easier to cleanly remove if its on pre-foundation prepped skin. One micro spec of semi dried black mascara on foundation can cause need to remove the foundation entirely on one patch. That is, one micro spec of semi dried mascara (black especially), smudged on foundation can act like a dark contour.
