WELL FOLKS THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THERE WERE NO POINTS INVOLVED IN THE OBSTRUCTION TO VISION
ISSUE I WAS TICKETED FOR. IN ADDITION THE STATE POLICE QUESTIONED HOW I COULD KNOW THAT I HAD THE RIGHT REGISTRATION IN THE RIGHT ENVELOPE! BECAUSE OPENED THE ENVELOP AND LOOKED AND PUT THE RIGHT ENVELOPE IN THE RIGHT VEHICLE. I WAS PENALIZED FOR HAVING THE RIGHT REGISTRATION IN THE RIGHT
ENVELOP AND HAD TO PAY THAT FINE TOO. JUDGE TIMOTHY CLARK WAS VERY CORDIAL AND ALLOWED ME
TO SPEAK MY PEACE, WHICH HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO. I AM SATISFIED WITH THE WAY HE RAN THE PROCEEDINGS.

THE STATE POLICE SAID THAT THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN ME 4 TICKETS.
THE TWO I GOT FOR NOT SIGNING MY REGISTRATION AND OBSTRUCTION OF VISION
AND ONE FOR NOT HAVING MY DRIVERS WINDOW OPERATIONAL AND ONE FOR NOT HAVING MY
CURRENT STICKER ON MY LICENSE PLATE. AT NO TIME DID THE OFFICER MAKE ME AWARE OF THE FACT THAT HAVING A NON FUNCTIONING DRIVER WINDOW WAS ILLEGAL. HE NEVER TOLD ME THAT OR TO GET IT FIXED.
(WHICH I DID ON MY OWN AFTER ACCIDENTLY DISCOVERING THIS LAW, WHICH MAKES SENSE. )
THE STATE POLICE COULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS ENTIRE SITUATION BY AT THE END OF THE TICKET,
TELLING YOU WHAT ALL YOUR VIOLATIONS ARE AND TELLING YOU WHICH ONES YOU WERE GETTING A TICKET ON AND WHICH ONE YOU ARE GETTING A FREE RIDE OR A WARNING. THERE WAS NO SUCH SUMMARY IN MY CASE.
HAD I GOTTEN A SUMMARY, I MIGHT NOT HAVE FELT LIKE I WAS TARGETED FOR MY COMPLAINTS AGAINST THE STATE POLICE. THE FACT THAT THE OFFICER WOULD NOT COMMENT ON KNOWING MY NAME PRIOR TO OUR MEETING MAKES ME THINK THAT HE WOULD HAVE SAID YES. THERE WERE 8 POLICE OFFICERS THERE TO GIVE MORAL SUPPORT , OR LEGAL GUIDANCE TO THE OFFICER.

I AM ASKING ANY LAWYERS OUT THERE TO LOOK AT SUBCHAPTER E- PASSENGER CARS AND LIGHT TRUCKS

(4) NO OBJECT OR MATERIAL MAY BE HUNG FROM REARVIEW MIRROR AND NO OBJET OR MATERIAL MAY BE HUNG, PLACED OR ATTACHE IN A POSITION SO AS TO MATERIALLY OBSTRUCT, OBSCURE OR IMPAIR DRIVER'S VISION THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD OR CONSTITUTE A SAFETY HAZARD.

From the above law, do I understand that anything on a mirror is illegal in Pennsylvania? That is it says..
"No object or material may be hung from rearview mirror and ........."
Is that not saying that it does not matter what it is? What size it is, or how materially it obstructs, obscures or impairs a driver's vision through the front windshield? I'm I missing something..

I have modified my signs to say" $107 FINE FOR ANYTHING ON YOUR MIRROR!"
Until I get a list from PENN DOT as to what you can put on mirror, contrary to what some people say, I will stand by this statement.

Why yes they do, thats not a secret. The knowledge is public though nothing stops you from buying a Pa statue 17 vechile law book is yourself. It costs about 13- 20 bucks. there is no lack of letting the public know, and most cops don't even care about that you just happened to be stopped by an asshole. It's been what like at least 4 months since this has happened?either get over it, or make actual war on the station.

Oh I have to do this? When you take your drivers written test these things should be on it. It is just like kids who graduate hs have no idea .. no real idea the total expense and consequences of dwi.. anyone with a pea brain who knew would never be drunk while driving..

What about my ticket for not having the registration signed. Had i had my other car's registration in my car I would have had 5 days to produce the right one signed. so by taking the time of getting the right regestration into each one of my vehicles I get a ticket. Had I not cared I would not have a ticket.

So what do you do first in a rain storm/???

How many people do we all see parking and or sitting in a "fire-zone" next to a store? Better yet, people parking in a HP zone than bitch when they get a large fine/points? <is it because they don't know the law, or maybe they just don't care,(until they get caught).

Other laws, people don't fully stop first at a "right-turn-on-red", they, 99% don't even slow down first. When it rains, look and see how many people have Head-light's on with wippers, some more PA laws with points and big fines, botton line is: "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink".

The issue is people who don't take the time to learn and obey laws of the state they live in. A boat does not stick up in the air like a large sign and is better stream-lined,ie,safer to place on a roof top, of course that should be common sence, also law enforcement can do many things you and I can't do, that again everybody should already know these things or go back to drivers school and learn!

I appreciate your input. Why do thay have roof racks

on cars? My sign is secured as solidly as any device

on a roof. Surely having kyaks and canoes would be a bigger threat. You don't seem to want to address the issue.. or the fact that the officer recorded my voice without my knowledge.
