John Cale's cover of Hallelujah. Hallelujah was a Leonard Cohen song. Jeff Buckley then performed Hallelujah in his album Grace. Hallelujah is popular on TV and films, and has been on Scrubs, House, Gray's Anatomy, etc. Hallelujah has been covered many times.

The X Factor winner Alexandra Burke performed Hallelujah as her winner's song on the X Factor. She then released Hallelujah as an official single with a music video.

this is one of my all time favorite songs. no matter who does it, i thoroughly enjoy it. i love the sound of this particular version for the raw emotion that seems to pour from John. Very, very well done.
