The 'cream' Veritys New Orbital fan has had now had the motor rewound and is operational. The next stage will obviously be the aesthetical restoration. Here is a video clip showing the fan operating at each of its three speeds. If anybody can provode info that will assist in dating the cream new orbitals, that would be appreciated.
thats a bad fan to put your fingers in !!

Looks neat the way it is. But I can understand wanting to restore it.

@smurfboywv yep. They have a linkage that allow them to do that. Those fans were built like that. Wish I owned one.

Beautiful mechanism and such an asthetically pleasing shape, even as it is. I'm probably in the minority, but aside from giving it a good clean, there's something pleasing about a nicely worn and slightly shabby looking fan. Gives it character. Not sure I'd strip the paint back and get it looking as it was when new .But that's just me! :-D

Good Job getting it running again, I've never seen one of those in operation. I may need to get one for my next fan
