@SacredSt33l I did'nt say everything causing human fatalities is a monster, and stop defending them with the repetitive fact that they feel threatened, I doubt that any person swimming in the shark's radius would obviously consider them a threat so that would justified right? Plus me concluding my definition of "kid" was a response to "Get some background information kid..." I'm not denying it, just the fact that your purposely bashing a movie that was meant for entertainment.

@XxAnimeBoi4ever Oops, sorry, missunderstood sth with the attacks on boats^^..
Now back to our discussion... You say, anything thats causing human fatalities is a monster? Ugh... No? And i dont say that they dont hurt a fly, the fact is just... they fking attack if they feal threatened or one of the other reasons above. L2read. And btw, whats your definition of "Kid"? Is that you argument you always use to conclude your annotation? :)

@SacredSt33l If they weren't monsters they would'nt be causing human fatalities would they? You make it sound like they would'nt hurt a fly. Second of all, since when the hell did I say sharks ATTACKED boats? They did'nt attack boats in the movie either WTF? I did'nt need background information about YOU either. You just was vaguely misinterpreting the situation that you would have been supposedly put on. Nice rant huh? Coming from a kid :P

@XxAnimeBoi4ever Okay anime boy :) The first time i touched a shark was when i was 15 years old. I know that they are really strong and could kill me without any problems, but they are NO MONSTERS and they dont attack / kill humans for no reason. While being in the open ocean the sharks have it easier when they hunt other animals living in the ocean then hunting humans. Also... sharks dont attack boats... Get some background information kid...

It wasn't a bad movie, it's just that it's not realistic. Sharks don't go after people like that. And they don't EAT people. They bite them mistaking them for fish or seals. Their bites sometimes are deadly. But they don't purposely torture us. Tigers and lions are more dangerous than sharks but due to the media no one realizes that. However, in fantasy land this was a good movie.

@SacredSt33l Ok "cool guy" let's drop you in the middle of the ocean and see you not freak out. Because you know damn well that if you saw a shark like that, you would swim as fast as you can to get away from that thing, another important fact that you're missing is that it is a MOVIE, and this really had happened to Ray Boundy in 1983, god people like you have extremely flawed information. -_-

I'm terribly scared of sharks, they're my biggest fear, with that being said I would never try to swim away from a shark. Are they dumb? Sharks are attracted to movement. The best thing you could do is stay completely still, and if they attack you, fight back. Try to poke it's eyes, something, but trying to swim away is the dumbest thing especially knowing there is not any land really close by that they could swim to.
And this movies are the reason for people thinking sharks are human killing machines...
Fail.
And its definitely not based on "true events", sharks are attacking humans only if
a) they're bleeding
b) they swim flat on the water ( looks like a seal )
c) they are attacked first by the humans
d) feel threatened by the humans.
Dumfuck regisseur...
