This is probably my most favorite scene in the show. The first half of the video is what 4kids did for "Kirby Right Back At Ya". The second half (starting at 3:16) is the original Hoshi no Kaabii clip with subtitles.

Personally, I think there's no comparison.

  • @Fortenium Saying "Hi" isn't speaking, babies say one word at a time all the time, theres no excusing the fact that the Japanese version broke Sakurai's rule, either way the English version obeyed it, AUTOMATICALLY making it better, any *TRUE ANIME FAN* will tell you that the version that obeys the *ORIGINAL CREATORS RULES* is always the superior version. BTW SSBB isn't a Kirby game, saying attack names is speaking, this is the reason why Kirby doesn't talk in his OWN games.

  • @KitsuneAi1998 No, what makes the English Dub superior is the fact that they *Obeyed* Sakurai's rule by making Kirby not talk by removing his attack phrases. Any *True Anime Fan* will tell you that the version that disobeys the creators wishes and rules is always the inferier version, this is the main reason why the 4Kids dub of One Piece, Tokyo Mew Mew, and the DIC dub of Saint Seiya sucked and recieved so much critism, they did not follow anything by the Original creators.

  • For you guys who say that the English version is superior, I see nothing superior about something that changes the names of characters who are better known by their Japanese names in the games, although it is true that the 4Kids dub of Hoshi no Kaabii had fewer names changed than any other dub by 4Kids, making it only superior to the other dubs.

    Long comment is long.....

  • 2:19 Skyward Sword :3

  • Link.

  • @VaatiTheWindDemon 4Kids, knowing them, probably removed the talking because it sounded too Japanese. Regardless, Kirby has spoken in the Super Smash Bros. series as well as Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, both of which Masahiro Sakurai directed. Was there a problem with Kirby shouting, "Falcon Punch," or saying, "Hi"?

  • DAMN! The Jappeneese are awesome!

  • I just get all tickly inside hearing Kirby say, "Galaxia"

  • I hate the japanese music. I meant, the japanese version, with the Music... yuk!!

  • You what how about we all agree that both the English dubs and JP is good in there own ways. People have there opinions on which one htey like. For me It dosen't matter just as long as i can watch the show. If you can't deal with this than leave.
