Its predominantly a French Italian sport. It would be dishonest to claim otherwise. As the posts below indicate. It would be like saying all basketball players are Asians. Or all football players are white. Such a commercial would be laughable. But yet, a commercial like this is acceptable because blacks need the help?

Having been a black fencer for almost 8 years now I saw this commercial for the first time and thought "OMG, a fencing commercial WITH FENCING!"
I had to come back and watch it after all the conversations about it to notice that all the fencers were black.

@brandojg as a fencer of 30 years and a living as ablack man for 57 years , these commercials are not the reason racism is still on the front page.The commerical didn't help you see black people you were already there. Since were seeing black people the black girl in the middle with braids next to the hispanic girl won the 2009 junior worlds(women team foil).

This commercial isn't helping the fight against racism at all. These types of commercials are the reason racism is still in the front page. I'm a white guy and I saw them take off their masks and thought nothing of it until they said "breaking barriers matters". I didn't see black people, i saw people. This commercial made me see black people. How is this helping the fight?
