  • Nice job, we have a propane bottle stove, there are never problems with smoke leaking out of gaps in the exhaust. The draw sucks some air in through any gaps. A good idea is to make the chimney easy to clean, a good technique is just to push the soot back into the stove. I have considered making one like this but i would cut away most of the top and weld on a flat plate so one can heat water or cook. A huge pot of water keeps the heat in the room for many hours and makes a nice shower if need b.

  • @izzzzzz6 good ideas tanx for the comments!!

  • stove pipe to cloase to flamible wood etc

    fire hazzard

get aperfonal to in stall it

it might be illegal for a home made stove

if your house catches fire your insurance might not pay you

  • @firewoodguy2009 its 18 mm ply and no problems after over a year, why pay someone else to install it , its not in my house its in my garage, thanks for the input

  • @MerKWorK I do sell them, check out" gas cylinder stove feedback", cheers,,,

  • @assman255 i think a 2" pipe will lead to some smoke venting back thru the door, but ive been wrong before ;-)

  • I'm making on of these for tent camping, gonna use 2"pipe as I'm only going as far as roof of tent. gonna make make hole in tent, tape up faberic w/heat tape and put metal flange over pipe

  • @bung1e Hi , no i didnt use any fire rope to keepout smoke its just a matter of getting the draft right, though on a few ive made since then i put a metal cut out inside the door which makes the door more snug and prevents smoke, no damper either as by closing the draft you can shut it right down, its just a matter of getting used to it as every stove is different ,thanks for the comment. ;-)
