Knowing that Rick DiPietro is made of glass I'm expecting him to be out for 10 years with an "upper body injury".
Also, he probably managed to break his hip.

Lil' bitch. Fuck the Islanders.

love the line @1:02 "how can you blame him, everybody likes to hit matt cooke"

Put that guy on ice! Johson is the quintessential back-up goalie! Next time these teams played Johnson had to beat up a skater...He deserves a playoff start.

@M1K3YM0 TKO is any situation where the fight is stopped, but the guy isn't down for a ten count, so some boxing rules have a mandatory three knockdown TKO rule (other states don't have that). It can also be when the guy beats the count, the referee looks at him, and decides he's too dazed to continue, or even if the guy is getting battered against the ropes, and the referee steps in and stops it with the fighter still on his feet.
Having said that, KO is definitely what Johnson handed out.

Johnson hit DiPietro with is elbow where he has his elbow pad... next time he can use skate.. :-/

@joelmelin notice how dipietro puts his hand up while he is on the ice, that is a TKO, it is a tko, plain and simple, and i don't want to bother arguing with you

@NHLArchive "A full knockout (K.O) is considered any legal strike or combination thereof that renders an opponent unable to continue fighting." Why does he have to pass out?
Technical Knock Out = 3 Knockdowns in one round. (At least in punch out)
Knock Out = What Johnson did to DiPietro.

@M1K3YM0 there is only 1 round in hockey, when you knock them down with a punch that doesn't knock them out cold or in which they get back up from but cannot continue the fight because they are off balance or the refs come in it is a tko.
