Our friends - originally Flickr friends and now full-on, honest to goodness, flesh and blood friends - Tym and Bogna are to be married tomorrow in Poland (4th July 2009 for you historians out there). We couldn't make the wedding, and sadly neither could a bunch of their other Flickr friends who were invited to share the special day with them. So my lovely wife decided that what I should do was the following : contact everybody we know who was invited to the wedding and couldn't make it, and get them to do something really special and memorable. And tear-inducing. What better then, she suggested, than to sing them a song about Perfect Days, with lots of guest vocals.
Not an original idea, but a very sweet one, and everybody was game on and up for it, and off we went. The backing track of piano and strings and drums isn't me by the way, I invested 69p from Amazon on a karaoke backing track. 69p! What a great deal!
Hope you YouTubers enjoy the result as much as we Flickrers all enjoyed making it. And we hope the wedding is a gargantuan success.
p.s. - yes, I *know* I can't sing - that's kind of the whole point. But I got to use both of my guitar chords.
