The GrindSmart®528XS is a 5 axis super precision tool grinder for the manufacturing and regrinding of endmills, drills and deburring tools from Ø1.0 -- 25.0 mm (.04"-- 1"). The 528XS offers proven technology, reliability & quality in an economical package.

The GrindSmart®528XS is equipped with the latest Fanuc 160iMB CNC control and operated by the intuitive and user friendly 5 axis Rollomatic programming software.
The 3D Renishaw probe and included measuring sequences give you the ability to regrind your tools with only a few clicks. Our programs also enable thermal compensation in order to ensure the tightest tolerance possible during production.
The modular conception of the new workhead offers the flexibility to adapt different clamping systems according to your specific requirements. It has also been designed to ensure minimal setup time while maintaining a concentricity accuracy of less than 0.005 mm (.0002") on your tools.
To further increase the versatility of the machine, available options include an automatic pick & place loader for tools ranging from Ø1.0 -- 16.0 mm (.04"-- 5/8"), a V-block shank guide system and a programmable steady rest.
