Your Daily Johnny Mathis Hit Parade

This is a strange little tune, very tru-la-la English-sounding. Johnny does some astounding highs here and probably more than any other song he's sung.

  • I love this song and can't get enough of it or Johnny Mathis..!! He is still incredible..!! I would follow him anywhere..!! BlondieUSA13

  • and he's soooo good-looking!

  • The song is credited to "K. Thompson" and it's my belief that it is Kaye

Thompson, the woman who created "Eloise". Considering Mathis's friendship

with the composer Bart Howard (Nobody Knows/Where Do You Think You're Going/I'll Be Easy to Find, among others) it's likely that the young Johnny was

introduced to Kaye. That's my theory, anyhow.

  • what a voice, so pure and tender What a wonderful quality.....for many years I have followed jOhnny. Seem him many times..thanks for posting the old ones are precious....

  • I love this 60's 70's look of his. So romantic nostalgic!
