Observing Scuds on Taneycomo, Nov 22, '09

This is a pool of water at the base of the rock bank at the Narrows. It where Fall Creek did the retainer wall work last year about 3/4 mile above Fall Creek.

They are drawing the water down to work on Powersite Dam, the dam at the lower end of Taney. It left these pools of water. Bugs, including freshwater shrimp, follow the water down and congregate in these pools and along the edge of the lake as it drops.

In the video, something I didn't see were the tiny bugs swimming around. They were too tiny to my eye but not the video camera. Cool.
